Coach Mead was a Graduate Assistant with the NWOSU Football program from 2009-2011

Coach Mead was an Assistant Football Coach, Track Coach and taught Physical Education at Elgin Public Schools, Elgin, Oklahoma from 2011-2012

Coach Mead was an Assistant Football Coach, Track Coach, Baseball Coach and taught Physical Education at Woodward Public Schools, Woodward, Oklahoma from 2012-2018.

He currently is a Special Education Teacher at Alva High School and will be Assisting with both the High School Football and Baseball programs.

Coach Mead is married to Kala Mead and has a daughter, Tindler.  Coach Mead’s mother, Karen Mead, is an Elementary Teacher with Alva Public Schools, his mother in law, Krista Starbuck, is the Alva Public Schools Title I Coordinator.

Coach Mead enjoys reading, hunting and fishing.
